Traeth Mawr has something for everyone – a beach cafe serving ice cream, bacon butties and drinks during the season, a large car park, public toilets, a wide level promenade suitable for buggies, wheelchairs and mobility scooters, plentiful benches and at the far end, picnic tables.

At low tide you can race across the wide expanse of sand, explore the caves and coves along the cliffs and play ball games. There is a free slipway at the far end of the beach in the second car park, but please respect the speed limit within the bay and beware of swimmers and kayakers if you are using a speedboat or jetski.

Please observe the seasonal restrictions regarding dogs on the beach.
